5 Must-See Movies Hitting Theaters This Christmas 2013
Film makers have to release those blockbusters quick if they want to make the cutoff for next year’s awards nominations. The good news is that means lots of great movies heading our way and just in time for the holidays. Here’s a few must-see movies this holiday season:
1. Disney’s Frozen- released

2. American Hustle
Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper hit the big screen together again, and this Jennifer is one we haven’t quite seen yet. I also love the fact that it’s based on a true story. That’s why American Hustle is my number one pick for a date night movie this December 13th.
3. August Osage County
With stars like Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts (we’ve forgiven her for ruining Eat, Pray, Love), this movie is sure to not disappoint. Based on an award-winning play by Tracy Letts and produced by George Clooney, August Osage County hits theaters Christmas Day, December 25th.
4. Wolf on Wall Street
Only Leonardo DiCaprio could make me want to sit through a three-hour movie (well, two hours and 59 minutes). This edgy modern-day Wall Street movie is a Martin Scorsese film with a comedic twist with thanks to cutie-Matthew McConaughey and the adorable Jonah Hill. This movie is also set for a Christmas Day, December 25th, release and is one of very few films I would consider leaving the house for this holiday.
5. Anchorman 2
If you liked the first Anchorman, you’ll more than likely love the sequel which my friend refers to as “bad ass” and a “cult classic”. Ron Burgundy is coming to theaters this December 18th. As for me? I’ll need to go watch the first one beforehand because apparently I’ve missed something “bad ass”.
