Instagram lovers just fell in love all over again.  Recently, the online photo-sharing sensation announced a new feature: video.  Yes, it looks as though Vine has become obsolete as soon as news about Instagram’s new video feature came through every smartphone that has this ingenious app.  Vine allows users to record, create and share a six-second long video clip.  Instagram’s new video feature allows users to do the same, however, the video can be up to fifteen seconds long with thirteen different filters to choose from.  You can also select your favorite image from the video to use as your cover photo.  Now that’s pretty impressive.

But don’t say, “Hasta la vista, baby,” to Vine just yet.  According to those tech-loving users, Vine is supposedly getting revamped in hopes that it will stay competitive in the video-sharing market.  Also, there are consumers out there who still prefer Vine over Instagram.  Apparently, the younger generation appreciates the quickness and ease of using Vine, attributes they don’t associate with using Instagram’s video feature.

Melly prefers to use Vine when she specifically wants to share to Twitter. Plus the ability to embed her Vine videos into posts is an added bonus in her opinion. While Instavideo shares through the Twitterverse as an unattractive link, it has it’s pluses in the beautiful filters, video length, and editing capability.
