Santa Arrives at Town Square
The kids and I sipped hot cocoa from the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and listened to Christmas carolers with thousands of fellow Las Vegans while waiting for the arrival of Santa at Town Square last night.
We watched the skies for Santa’s sleigh to fly in, and each time a private jet headed to the Las Vegas Executive Airport flew by, we thought it might be him.
However, Santa didn’t arrive by sleigh last night. Instead, he was escorted by local police and firefighters on a float. Snowflakes hurled through the air via the snow machine for Snow In The Park and the giant Christmas tree lit up once Santa arrived in the park after making a parade loop around Town Square.
Santa’s arrival at Town Square marks the opening of the beautiful Normal Rockwell inspired Santa’s house located in the middle of Town Square Park. Photos with Santa Claus is now open Monday thru Saturday from 10:00am to 9:00pm & Sunday 11am to 7pm until December 20th. Then, December 21 thru December 23 9:00am to 9:00pm and December 24 9am to 6pm (BREAK: 1pm-2pm).
There are many holiday events coming up in Town Square Las Vegas including Snow In The Square, which falls nightly at 7:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00 and 8:00pm Friday through Sunday until December 23rd.
