Stylish and Classy Winter Fashion Tips

It’s not just about fashion; it’s about style.

When you let style lead the way, skies the limit as to where you can find great buys. You can mix and match items from higher end retailers to “cheapy” and vintage “used” item stores. That’s right, ladies – -used.

Style may not be as effortless for everyone; so let me enlighten you a little on some of my favorite things this winter and holiday season.

Keep It Classy but Sassy

Try trading in that little black dress for a sassy jumpsuit and you’ll be a hit at any holiday party or night out. If you’re worried about showing off too much at the work holiday party, blend a feminine dress with a structured masculine blazer and you’ll be set. The same applies to any aline, high-waisted or pleated skirt. Adding sequence anything (pants, skirt, top, etc.) to the mix is a great idea. You have the bright green light to go for it!

Look Chic While Staying Warm and Comfy

With the temperatures dropping in Vegas, grab a colored coat to add some pep in your step. Wrap yourself in a comfy infinity scarf and not only will you feel warm on the inside but you’ll look hot on the outside too. Layer it up ladies!!! Throw on an over-sized knit sweater or cardigan this season or perhaps you’d prefer an over-sized sweatshirt. Either way, you’re sure to be headed in the right direction.

Embrace Leggings

I know I’m semi-obsessed with Aztec plaid or any pattern leggings for that matter. Finding ones that fit you right should have you gliding around feeling all things feminine. A great legging just pulls everything in and they’re sure to make a statement. If leggings aren’t your flavor, the next best thing are boyfriend jeans – -another must-have. I just adore the masculine feel accompanied by something feminine. Ahhhhh, brings me such joy!

Must-Have Winter Footwear

Now ladies of course all these looks must be accompanied by a fabulous bootie (a definite must-have) or a pointed pump. Yes, if you’re in the market for a new heel, route yourself to the “pointed toe” section. Talk about feminine. I’m not saying ditch all your round toe stilettos because we still have love for those. There’s just something gained when you rock a pointed toe. Add an ankle-strapped one and it’s that much more lethal.

Make a Statement with Accessories

Wear statement earrings or a statement necklace (but not together). Try a bold lipstick to any outfit and off you go. If you dare add a floppy hat or beanie; when done right it’s the star on top.

Swap and Donate Because Sharing is Caring

Here’s a winter holiday idea: gather up your girls and do a “clothes” swap. You’ll be amazed at how fun and productive it can be. Not only are you cleaning out your old but you’re gaining some new. At the end, donate the rest to charity and it’s a win-win for everyone.

Until next time ladies! Keep styling and stay classy.
