Get your game on and throw a fabulous Super Bowl Party!

Many households across the country will be watching the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks battle it out for the Super Bowl XLVIII Championship. If you’re planning to have guests over, why not plan for a Super Bowl party? It may sound like too much work for a bunch of people whose primary focus will be on the big screen, but trust me, it’s not that complicated. In fact, you may even get some high fives and cheers for a job well done.

Last year, I was featured on FOX 5 News when Maria Silva paid me a visit for some Super Bowl recipes and party ideas. I am The Organized Cook after all, and quick and easy meals and party planning are just up my alley. You’d think Super Bowl would be a challenge and surprisingly it wasn’t. I was able to whip up some great DIY party items and recipes right before Ms. Silva walked into my kitchen in the wee hours of the morning. Yes, it was “super” early.

Easy Appetizers:

Whenever you’re entertaining, appetizers are a must, but you want to keep it simple. I was able to make my Reuben Dips recipe in a matter of minutes (it’s my quick go-to appetizer recipe and it’s awesome). Another quick and easy appetizer is my Fig, Brie & Prosciutto Crackers recipe (all the ingredients came from Fresh & Easy). This hor d’oeuvres was a big hit at our holiday party. Finally, I recommend my Zesty Polenta Cakes which are also perfect as a side dish for chili and various soups and stews. To get these recipes, just click on the photos.

Super Bowl Printables:

Party printables are an easy way to add that je ne sais quoi (I knew French class would come in handy) to any party. Finding printables is super simple as there are many sites (and Pinterest) that offer them for free. This fun sandwich wrap is a free printable from Another fun printable I found is from Hostess with the Mostess (although she got this from another site but I could only find these on hers). These beverage printables are perfect for a Super Bowl party because your guests will definitely be distracted enough to forget whose beverage belongs to who. Don’t Forget the Kids

If you have children or your guests do, then make sure you have something fun for the little ones to do. Here is a fun game for kids to play during Super Bowl from Studio DIY.
