Commemorating the death of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day is a day of celebration which usually entails drinking a beer or two and eating Irish food. My mother, whose family roots stem from Ireland, likes her corn beef and hash and will make it at home.
