New Energy Medicine or a Good Way to Sell Books?

“…the next frontier in medicine is energy medicine…” – Dr.Oz

About 18 months ago I changed many of the world views I carried with me from childhood.  Without going into too much detail, I have become much more open to new ideas;  I’m encompassing emotional and physical health, namely my body, mind, thoughts and spirit.  I’ve had tremendous success overcoming personal mental setbacks in the areas of stress, anxieties and fear.

Healing Code book review

The Healing Code was introduced to me one day during a conversation I had with a stranger.  She had a beautiful story of healing and shared it with me.  Naturally I was intrigued by the claims she made, so I purchased the book for myself although I am not suffering from any illness that I’m aware of.  I will sometimes have mild, infrequent bouts of stress from the wear and tear of everyday life.  The only tool I’ve used to combat this is when I’m feeling stressed, I list all the things I’m grateful for which has worked very well for me so far.

“Every time you use a Healing Code, it activates a physical function built into the body that consistently and predictably removes the #1 cause of illness and disease from the body . . . stress” – Alex Loyd, PhD, ND.

I’m well aware that stress is a magnet for poor health and carries far too numinous negative affects on the body to list here. Having that knowledge, I was interested by The Healing Code because the book takes the position that one thing is the cause of illnesses in the human body, namely stress.

“More than half of Americans reported personal health problems (53 percent) as a source of stress, roughly the same level (52 percent) as last year but up from 2009 (47 percent).” – American Psychological Association

Healing Code book reviewOur immune systems, uninhibited by stress, can perform miraculous things and the book claims by combining both prayer and the body’s energy, its possible to relieve stress and induce natural healing.  The Healing Codes, discovered in 2001 by Alex Loyd, PhD, ND, are a simple and powerful self-healing system and a form of energy medicine.

Healing Code book reviewThe above is the assessment I was given after I took part in heart issues finder (free) on the Healing Code website.  It was very accurate and fun to peek into my brain a little bit.  What I took away from the book is that nature has designed us a certain way and for good reason.  Our fast paced, non-stop, always on-the-go lives open us to many life pressures that create havoc on our immune system with stress.  We continually send the message to our body that we should be in fight or flight mode.  This mode was designed to be utilized in small infrequent amounts.  By prolonging this fight or flight mode, we have shut down the biggest ally we have, our immune system.  This system failure results in negative effects such as illness and disease.

“Stress is hurting our physical and emotional health and contributing to some of the leading causes of death in this country…” – Norman B. Anderson, PhD, American Psychological Association’s (APA’s) Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President

The Healing Codes may be a way to relieve the known and unknown stress inhabiting your bodies natural defenses.  I enjoyed to book and use The Healing Codes myself daily.  I’ve noticed some positive changes and will continue to use the codes in the way I tailored the “prayer” to fit with my lifestyle.

More importantly, the message is to manage stress in a positive way by addressing the root issue.  If you feel like most Americans, STRESSED, then the $10 e-book purchase from Amazon.com may turn out to be a good investment.
