Working During Spring Break? Check Out These Kids’ Camps

Not taking any time off from work during spring break? Just because your children are getting a break next week doesn’t necessarily mean you are.  If you’re a working parent and you want to keep your kids busy during spring break while you’re on the job, here are some places that are offering camps.

City of Henderson

Kids Zone (ages 5-12, currently enrolled in fifth grade)
Offered during all school breaks
Cost: $90 for one child, $160 for two children, $210 for three children (weekly rate)
Location: Henderson Recreation Centers

City of Las Vegas Camps

Splash Camp (ages 6-11)
Monday-Friday, March 25-29, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $110 per child.

Kids Camp (ages 6-11)
Monday-Friday, March 25-29, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: $75 for first child, $70 for each additional child.

Spring Break Drama Workshop offered by the Rainbow Company Youth Theatre (grades 2-6)
Monday-Friday, March 25-29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: $135 per child.
Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St., (702) 229-6383.

Dance Camp (ages 12-18)
Monday-Friday, March 25-29, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $75 per student.

Arts Workshop (ages 10-18)
Wednesday-Friday, March 27-29, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Life Skills And Job Readiness Workshop (ages 14-19)
Saturday, March 30, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Free admission.

Clark County Parks & Recreation Day Camp

Ages: ages 6 – 12 (may be age 5 and have completed kindergarten)
Cost: $15 per day
Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on designated dates
Location: Various (please check their website)
