When Adults Get Sucked Into the World of Teenage Drama

Twilight, Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl are all big hits among teens.  Yet, there are adults out there who are also huge fans of these books, TV shows and movies that are geared toward the younger generation.  My own stepfather never misses an episode of Vampire Diaries and enthusiastically discusses the show with his own teenage granddaughter.  I have to admit that I’m a sucker for Supernatural although I justify it by saying the main characters are grown men, younger than me, but still.  So why are adults reading The Hunger Games and watching Glee, and not only that, why do we love it so?

Or it reminds of nothing of high school, hence the appeal.

Maybe we just need to veg out.

Teenage mystery and intrigue, farfetched as it is, still enchants us.

Perhaps we just have a thing for vampires, no matter what age we are.

………………but the best reason of all, EYE CANDY!
