Meaningful Monday at Poppy Den to Benefit Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation

Poppy Den is a Staff Pick by Recess Contributors and my new personal favorite.  Since it’s grand opening this past New Year’s Eve, I’ve frequented this hot new restaurant as my first choice for lunch with the girls and business meetings.  I’m dying to check out the free champagne happy hour for ladies, as soon as I rally the girls together.

Here’s a photo from a recent lunch with a girlfriend:

If you’ve been wanting to check out the new gastropub by celebrity chef Angelo Sosa, this coming Monday is the perfect time!

Located in Tivoli Village, Poppy Den will donate 20% of all sales to Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation Monday April 8th from 6 to 9 p.m.

It’s been more than five years since my husband and I founded the first and only charity for blind children in Nevada, and we recently celebrated the opening of our Learning Center.  I’m so grateful to Chef Angelo Sosa and Kelly Jones for all of the support they’ve shown NBCF since opening and so I hope to see you all there Monday night to treat yourself to some of the best food and drink in Las Vegas while supporting local children who are blind.

The ladies of Recess will be there, so we hope to see you!
