Here are some resources and information about breastfeeding including classes and pump rentals:

La Leche League Las Vegas

La Leche League is an international, non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers & babies and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help. You do not need to become a member to attend our meetings or to call a La Leche League Leader for phone helping.

St. Rose Dominican Hospitals offers a variety of programs for soon-to-be parents, new moms and dads and families. We encourage you to take advantage of these educational classes and resources.  Classes and support groups are held at both of the Barbara Greenspun WomensCareCenters of Excellence (BGWCC) as well as Family to Family Connection.

Nevada Law on Public Breastfeeding

If you are a Nevada nursing mother and have been asked to leave a public place, you have the NV law on your side. You have the right to breastfeed in public. Direct them to:

NRS 201.232

It States:

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a mother may breastfeed her child in any public or private location where the mother is otherwise authorized to be, irrespective of whether the nipple of the mother’s breast is uncovered during or incidental to the breastfeeding.

Some lactation consultant even have handouts you can carry with you (size of a business card) with the law printed on it.
