Look Like a Disney Princess with new Makeup Collection at Sephora
Disney princess dress-up isn’t for young girls anymore. Sephora has a new makeup collection inspired by favorite Disney movies like Cinderella and Aladdin. It’s true that we never grow out of loving Disney Princess movies. I still feel the same magic watching Sleeping Beauty as I did when I was four.
Each visit to Disneyland when my girls were younger included a trip to Ye Old Dress Shop located in Cinderella’s castle for a new Disney Princess dress. This year, however, Cassidy and Brooke informed me that they were too old to sport a princess dress around the park and have traded in their gowns for a more mature Disney Shake It Up look. Hearing this made me sad. I wanted to visit the dress shop and live vicariously through them.
Disney is now covering all demographics of princesses, from young girls to tweens and now grown women. Sephora’s new Disney Princess Makeup Collection apparently will give me the same look as some of my favorite Disney Princesses. Who doesn’t want to look like Jasmine?
Disney Collection by Sephora
Right now, Sephora has the Disney Princess Jasmine collection with items like the Magic Carpet Ride Eyeshadow Pallette or Jasmine Storylook Eyeshadow Pallette for $55.
And you can smell like Jasmine too with A Whole New World Perfume or Perfume Body Shimmer. I might actually buy this because I love body shimmer.
You can get those smokey eyes like Jasmine with this eyeliner kit.
Apparently these items are limited edition because the Cinderalla Storylook Eyeshadow Pallette is sold out. Of course you could snag it on ebay for about $118, but you would have to be a really huge Cinderalla fan for that.
The last item from the Cinderella collection still in stock is the Midnight Hour Eyeshadow Pallette for $30.
Yes, it’s true that you you can probably get the same look with colors from your existing eyeshadow pallette. And although I may not spend $55 on a new eyeshadow pallette right now for myself (or I may), there’s a good chance I may purchase it as a gift for my oldest daughter who is also a big Disney fan. Now I’m wondering if the Disney Princess Collection will continue with a line for Sleeping Beauty or Tiana.
