Las Vegas Female Entrepreneur Helping Women Combat Cellulite and Stay Smooth
Here at RECESS, we love to highlight local female-owned businesses. I personally enjoy hearing the “back story” of how these creative and tenacious ladies embarked on their journey to joining the ever increasing pool of companies owned by women. In fact, Nevada currently ranks third in the nation for female-owned businesses.
With bikini season upon us, I thought what better business owner to feature than a lady who has helped me in the past prepare my body for my toughest critic- me. Danielle Panarro and her Smooth Skin Firming Cream have been helping Southern Nevadan women smooth out topical cellulite for years now.
Growing up in a home focused on health and beauty, Danielle’s mom was in the cosmetic industry and her father a health and fitness fanatic. The journey to Smooth began one day in Danielle’s kitchen. With a desire to find a product to help rid herself of that pesky cottage cheese looking fat that builds up on the most undesirable places – like the outside of the thighs – known as cellulite, Danielle began researching and experimenting on a cream to combat it.
“Cellulite is a hard word and a tough problem to cure,” says Danielle. Smooth is made from all-natural oils because Danielle didn’t want to use harsh chemicals which are found in many cellulite creams. After years of working with chemists and lots of reformulations, Danielle moved her product out of her kitchen and onto the shelves under the name Smooth.
Danielle’s passion to stay smooth extends beyond her skin and product into what she refers to as the “smooth lifestyle”. “What you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body,” says Danielle. “Smooth is really a byproduct of my lifestyle.”
My personal favorite is the Smooth Scrub. Many “DIY’ers” will tell you the remarkable results you get by using coffee grounds to break up and firm surface cellulite while breaking up the dead skin at the same time which helps the Smooth Cellulite and Firming Solution penetrate the skin better. The difference between using just coffee grounds and Danielle’s product is the oils she combines with her organic ground espresso beans to create a synergetistic blend for optimal results.
