Summer Wine Love: Endless Crush
Do you remember your first summer crush?
The sweet rush of emotion the moment you saw the object of your attention? The blush that would spread across your cheeks if that special person caught your gaze and returned it with a smile? Tended well and nurtured with sweet intentions, a crush can blossom into love and become endless. A crush that goes on and fuels love is the inspiration for Inman Family Wines Endless Crush Rose of Pinot Noir.
This wine was originally created in 2004, to honor of the “endless crush” the winemaker, Kathleen Inman, has for her husband (awww!) and it continues to be made every other year. It’s a refreshing wine with a beautiful blush color and hints of strawberry, guava and pink grapefruit with a bit of minerality. and would be perfect for the lighter summer food fare. Though the 2012 Endless Crush Rose of Pinot Noir was just bottled in February of this year, I was able to find it at Milo’s Cellar in Boulder City I recommend packing it along for a romantic, impromptu picnic with your crush this summer.
