Here at Recess, we are all about women.  Whether it’s sharing advice or reviews, trending on what’s new in fashion and entertainment or relaying information on events and community happenings, Recess is dedicated to connecting, enlightening and empowering women in Southern Nevada.  That’s why we were so excited to meet local business woman, Kathlyn Jaramillo, Founder of Defining: Women and owner of CoBiz Coworking Space.  Tonight, Defining: Women is celebrating the launching of their new online magazine and you can bet your prettiest shoes, the ladies of Recess will be there.

About Defining: Women

Defining: Women is a Las Vegas-based network whose mission is to connect women in business and in life.  Through association and support, the Defining: Women network assist women to grow in their business lives as well as their personal ones by fostering relationships and sharing inspiration.  Currently, Defining: Women has one chapter which is here in Las Vegas.  Their magazine, which will contain stories and articles from female writers, bloggers, and businesswomen will be launching this month.  At this time, you can subscribe for free (just click here to do so).

A few of our Recess ladies met Kat at her lovely CoBiz Working Space located in Southwest Las Vegas.  Understanding that women sometimes have to make their own rules in the business world, Kat has not forgotten her fellow female counterparts and has made a personal quest to help empower her gender.  She’s also an awesome lady and we feel very fortunate to know her!
